Rice Weevil :- Sitophilus oryzae (Curculionidae: Coleoptera)
Host Range :- Rice, sorghum, wheat, barley, maize
Distribution and Status :- World-Wide and is found practically throughout India. It is the most destructive pest of stored grain. The rice weevil may be found in the paddy fields as well.

Host Range :- Wheat, rice, maize, sorghum, barley, lentils, army biscuits, ship biscuits, stored, dried potatoes, corn flour, beans, pumpkin seeds, tamarind seeds and millets.

Angoumois Grain Moth :- Sitotroga cerealella (Gelechiidae: Lepidoptera)
Host Range :- Paddy, Wheat, Maize, Sorghum, Barley, Oats etc.
Distribution and Status :- Worldwide. In the Indian sub continent, the pest is more abundant in the mountainous areas or where the climate is rather mild.
Pulse Beetle :- Callosobruchus maculatus (chinensis) (Bruchidae: Coleoptera)
Host Range :- Gram, mung (Phaseolus aureus), moth (Phaseolus aconitifolius), peas, cow peas, lentil and arhar (Cajanus cajan), cotton seed, sorghum and maize.
Distribution and Status :- USA, Mauritius, Formosa, Africa, China, Philippines, Japan, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and India.
Cigarette Beetle :- Lasioderma serricorne (Anobiidae: Coleoptera)
Drug Store Beetle :- Stegobium paniceum (Anobiidae: Coleoptera)
